b&b il pettirosso exceeded our expectations during our stay in siena. the villa on the hill near siena provided a calm and beautiful setting. the spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen, and delicious breakfast made our stay enjoyable. the little swimming pool was a refreshing bonus on hot days.
communication with owner was an issue.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B nestled in the hills of Tuscany. The view from the outdoor seating area near the pool was breathtaking, and we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere created by the fig trees and friendly cats. The location was perfect for exploring Siena and the surrounding cities, and the clean and comfortable apartment made for a relaxing stay. Andrea, the owner, was friendly and accommodating, making our experience even better. we highly recommend this B&B for a truly authentic Tuscan experience.

The top floor was relatively comfortable but very noisey from the motorway and dogs. There needs to be a more comprehensive map as to how to get in and out of Sienna. The breakfast is poor with just packet food. Some fresh bread, teabags and a kettle would be a great improvement. It was nice to have the garden to sit in and enjoy the sunshine and the rooms were very clean.

We were thrilled with our stay at the charming B&B in Siena. The rustic building and the breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside instantly transported us to a different world. The pool area was a real hidden gem, with its peaceful ambiance and stunning scenery. Our apartment was spacious, authentic, and had everything we needed. The host was extremely friendly and even gave us a gift of homemade jam and olive oil. We also appreciated the convenient location, just a short drive from Siena and a shopping mall. we highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable Tuscan experience.

Car park
No heating on first night, we only had a small window at ankle level in the bedroom, which overlooked a motorway, we could not stand upright in the bedroom or kitchen because ceilings were low, towels not changed in 3 days, breakfast only semi-replenished after 2nd day, no manager onsite

Location for getting into Sienna is good - providing you have a car. The second room we were allocated was very spacious and well appointed.
We were first allocated a room downstairs in an annex which felt claustrophobic as there were no windows in the kitchen/diner area. There was also a very unpleasant smell coming from the cupboards. We asked to move rooms and were given an upstairs room which was very nice as it was brighter. Once we had moved we were very happy, although the fact that there was no one at reception for most of the day was a little odd.

Lush property with rustic apartments, free Wi-Fi , and a lovely pool. Breakfast basket is a delightful surprise. Feel like a Tuscan, minus the hard work!
Annoying extra charge for drinks. Impersonal service, but who needs people when you have Tuscany?

I liked the fact that it is situated near the town but in the countryside.
Hard to find.

If you have a car the location is perfect since it is close to Siena but still in a very quiet location. The B&B has a nice atmosphere to it and I would say that it did meet our expectations.
The only thing we weren't too happy about was the cleaning of the room. There was basically no cleaning or changing of towels during our two night stay.

I recently stayed at B&B Il Pettirosso in Tuscany for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway after exploring nearby cities. The house itself was stunning, surrounded by picturesque hills, vineyards, and beautiful flora. The pool was the highlight, offering breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The hosts, Andrea and Jasica, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast provided a good variety of options, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. the unique Tuscany atmosphere and the charm of this B&B made our stay unforgettable.
Can recommend this hotel.

Parking and 'breakfast' included in the price.
Internet costs per hour very expensive. Nothing close to the location and a car is a must!!!! Place needs a good clean.

Very clean, tastefully decorated, well-equipped, close to Siena (about 10 minutes by car). Peaceful, beautiful surroundings.Free parking. Ideal for those who want to enjoy the Tuscan countryside and also visit the nearby towns.I'd highly recommend it!
Very limited check-in hours(15:30-18:30). Rather difficult to find the first time. The wi-fi connection was rather expensive. The swimming pool should be cleaned more often.
